GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE GYMNASIUM
The school was founded more than 70 years ago (in 1927).
The second and third youth of the school falls on the following years:
• The educational institution received the status of Secondary School in 1937;
• The School received the status of I-III degrees in 1994;
• The first phase of new construction was introduced in 2003;
• Specialized education within 10th and 11th grades appeared in 2003;
• The construction of the school was completed in 2007.

Kazanka Gymnasium No. 1 of Kazanka Village Council (Selyshchna Rada) in Mykolaiv Region, communal property, is located at 192 Ukrainian Street, Kazanka village;

lessons are given in Ukrainian, and pupils can learn two foreign languages – English and German;

number of classes – 19;

number of students at the beginning of the year – 479, at the end of the year – 485 students;

The Gymnasium employs 35 teaching staff, including:

2 teachers are certified;

1 teacher has the title of "Teacher-Methodologist";

20 teachers have the title of "Senior teacher";

22 teachers have the highest qualification category;

5 teachers have the first qualification category;

5 teachers have the second qualification category;

4 teachers have the qualification of "Specialist".
Many of our rooms were upgraded to meet modern educational needs. The classrooms of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, the Ukrainian language, the English language, World Literature and Geography classrooms are equipped with modern high quality multimedia systems.
The activities of the Gymnasium Council (Rada), teachers, parents, the Community and the BINOM Parliament are aimed at the development education raising of a patriot of Ukraine, a mentally healthy, competitive, skilled, multiple personality with a broad outlook and vivid imagination, focused on the sphere of intellectual interests, who honors the Ukrainian language, his or her Motherland, knows and obeys the laws of the State, and loves our country.
The entry of Ukraine into the European Educational Area, the development of the National Education System give rise to certain changes in the conceptual approaches and the paradigm of education and education of students today.
